The #SixDegreeChallenge was a campaign created by Dani Gagnon for the Kidney Foundation of Ontario, and it ran successfully in March 2019. The campaign involved a photoshoot by celebrity photographer Matt Barnes of Miss Canada (Delaney Holley) and Tom Wilson, a website featuring stories of people like City News’ Cristina Howorun, as well as a 2 week digital push to encourage Ontario-residents to “throw up the six” ✋☝️ if they were connected to anyone with Kidney Disease.

The campaign earned more than 3 million impressions throughout that time, and on the official donation day, March 27th, the Kidney Foundation raised over $30,000. The campaign was featured several times on CTV Ottawa news.
